Former THE CROWN Bassist Resurfaces In STOLEN POLICECAR

December 1, 2005

STOLEN POLICECAR, the new Swedish band featuring former THE CROWN bassist Magnus Olsfelt, are currently mixing their debut album at Studio MT with producer Marko Tervonen (ANGEL BLAKE, ex-THE CROWN). The group, who are currently unsigned, will present the finished album to interested labels.

Commented Tervonen: "From a producer's point of view, I must say that the album is simply phenomenal. I have always had a huge respect for Magnus as a songwriter and this time the man is fucking peaking. And the whole band is a very strong unit. We recorded 14 songs and the end result is a pretty diverse album with sounds from punk, rock, metal, Seattle... to... simply timeless rock anthems. Every damn song kills!!! And Marcus, the singer... what a great rock vocalist!

"If there are labels out there that find this interesting, get in touch with me at
[email protected] and we'll arrange a pre-listening for you before we start contacting labels on a larger scale..."

STOLEN POLICECAR is:

Lars Lörnell - Drums
Petri Nenonen - Guitar
Marcus Högfeldt - Vocals/Guitar
Magnus Olsfelt – Bass

The band's entire 2005 five-song demo has been posted online at their official web site. The tracks available for download are:

01. Unite!!! Unite!!!
02. No Consequences
03. Breakdown (The Shit)
04. Hard & Confused
